The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 24.8.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no.15704 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner has remained in custody for more than one year since 27.11.2020.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the liberty

No.595 of 2022(2) dt.12-01-2022 2/2 granted to the petitioner in the earlier order of rejection dated 24.8.2021 and the period in custody of the petitioner, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Risiup P.S. Case no. 83 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge 2nd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Aurangabad.
