The petitioner is accused in connection with Janta Bazar P.S. Case No. 43 of 2017, registered under Section 30 of the Excise Act, 2016.
The accusation is that, in course of checking of the vehicle, one Magic Van was stopped. On search, 160 bottles each containing 375 ml, 140 bottles each containing 180 ml, 20 bottles each containing 775 ml, Indian made foreign liquor were recovered and the Magic Van was being driven by Manoj Prasad and the petitioner was found sitting in the Van. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case mere on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24432 of 2017 (2) dt.29-06-2017 suspicion. It is further submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 24.03.2017. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District and Sessions Judge- VI, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Janta Bazar P.S.
