This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with S.Tr. No.20 of 2019 arising out of Charpokhari P.S.case No.210 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased and there is allegation that he cut the neck of the deceased and cancealed the body in the house and fled away. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that there was love marriage and even after the love marriage they were residing in his house and there is no eye witness to the occurrence. He is in custody since 12.10.2018.

Heard learned A.P.P. who has opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58645 of 2019(5) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 for bail on the ground that the postmortem report also supports the prosecution case..

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, since the petitioner is in custody for more than one year, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
