Mr. Ajay ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-09-2018 The petitioner is seeking direction to the respondents to correct her father's name as entered in the provisional certificate issued by the Bihar School Examination Board of having passed Secondary School Examination, 2013. Father's name of the petitioner has been entered as 'Md. Javed Ansari' in the said certificate, whereas, according to the petitioner, her father's name is 'Md. Javed' with no surname of 'Ansari'. This is not the plea of the petitioner that in school records, her father's name was mentioned as 'Md. Javed' and not 'Md. Javed Ansari' and that entry of her father's name in the provisional certificate is incorrect for that reason. This is also not the case of the petitioner that in the examination form, her father's name was mentioned as 'Md.
Patna High Court CWJC No.4581 of 2018(3) dt.13-09-2018 2/2 Javed' and because of fault committed by the school or the Examination Board her father's name came to be wrongly entered as 'Md. Javed Ansari'.
In such circumstances, the entry made by Bihar School Examination Board in the provisional certificate cannot be said to be incorrect, requiring correction. The relief, which is being sought, cannot be granted.
This application is dismissed.
