He is seeking a direction to the respondents to consider him for regularization/absorption/appointment against Group-D post in the light of the notification of the General Administration Department, Government of Bihar as contained in resolution no. 639 dated 16.03.2006.

Learned counsel for the State has opposed this writ application on a preliminary ground that it has been filed 28

Patna High Court CWJC No.797 of 2018(6) dt.27-02-2023 2/2 years after removal of the petitioner as daily wager. To this Court, it appears that the writ application is fit to be dismissed on the ground of delay and laches alone. The delay is such that, at this stage, the petitioner has made himself disentitled for the reliefs prayed in this writ application. It is, therefore, dismissed.
