This application has been filed for modification of the order, dated 01.08.2018, passed in Criminal Misc. No. 44297 of 2018, whereby the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail and was directed to surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from the date of the order. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not surrender before the learned Court below within the stipulated time granted by this Court. He further submits that due to communication gap, the said order of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58608 of 2019(2) dt.17-09-2019 2/2 anticipatory bail was not communicated to the petitioner and the petitioner is residing at Panchkula, Haryana, and as such, the time granted by this Court to surrender before the Court below may be extended by further four weeks.

Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned Court below for furnishing bail bond by order, dated 01.08.2018, passed in Criminal Misc. No. 44297 of 2018, is hereby extended by two weeks from today.

This application is allowed with the modification as above.
