The petitioner seeks bail in Jagdishpur P.S. Case No.257 of 2014 registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 and 406/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has committed no offence and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. The petitioner is rotting in jail since 21.03.2017 and has got no criminal antecedent. However, similarly situated co-accused Rajeev Kumar has already been allowed bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr.Misc.No.19283 of 2016 vide order dated 26.05.2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25040 of 2017 (2) dt.05-06-2017 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Jagdishpur P.S. Case No.257 of 2014.
