2. The petitioner is in custody since 04.03.2017 in connection with Banka (Barahat) P.S. Case No. 127 of 2017 for the alleged offences under Sections 30(a) and 30(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated as he is merely travelling with the passenger in the vehicle along with other persons and no recovery of any specific quantity is said to have been made from the petitioner. Altogether eight persons found sitting in the vehicle. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Be that as it may, having regard to the entirety of the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of
