JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 03-08-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove the defect(s), as pointed out by the office, within a period of four weeks.
The petitioner seeks bail in Parsa P.S. Case No. 97 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 302, 326 of the Indian Penal Code.
Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected taking into account that the petitioner was the main assailant and he had given Bhala blow upon the deceased which led to his death. A report was called for from the trial court. It has been reported that only investigating officer is left to be examined in the case and the trial is likely to be concluded within a period of two months.

Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
