The petitioner has come to this Court with a simple prayer, her name which was earlier in the voter list, got deleted, should be restored.

The petitioner is knocking the doors of each and every respondent and as per the contention of her counsel, the respondents failed to take a decision.

Mr. Sanjeev Nikesh has drawn attention of this Court to the Election Commission's letter no. 3713 dated 08.09.2022 addressed to the District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Ara with request to take steps in the matter.

Patna High Court CWJC No.17103 of 2022(2) dt.08-08-2023 2/2 There is no counter-affidavit despite the fact that the copies were served to the State Counsel. Even there is no representation on call.

Instead of keeping the case pending, it is appropriate that the petitioner approach the District Magistrate, Bhojpur annexing the request of the Election Commission, Bihar, Patna letter no. 3713 dated 08.09.2022 as also the present order within four weeks from today.

If such representation is preferred, the District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Ara is duty bound to take the same to its logical conclusion within next two months.

The writ petition stands disposed of with aforesaid observations.
