2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Salakhua P.S. Case No. 417 of 2022 registered for offence punishable under sections 341, 323, 384, 325, 379, 506, 354, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, while on the date of occurrence, the informant's husband was fencing in the field, all of sudden the accused persons having armed with Lathi, Danda, Farsa etc. came there and demanded ransom of Rs. 50,000/-. On protest, the accused persons assaulted the informant's husband

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67084 of 2023(2) dt.19-10-2023 2/2 and broke his Hanuman Chakti worth Rs. 13,000/-. Some ornaments are alleged to have been snatched away by the accused persons.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that there is no specific allegation against any of the petitioners of assault any members of the prosecution side. The allegations are general and omnibus. The specific allegation of inflicting assault with the butt of rifle is against co-accused Shivam Kumar.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender, within four weeks from today, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate-IV, Saharsa in connection with Salakhua P.S. Case No. 417 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) Cr. P.C. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) A.K.V.//- U T
