====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 05-07-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.
2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. It is a case of dowry death. Petitioner and his family members killed informant's daughter for non fulfilling the demand of dowry.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was married to informant's daughter on 30.5.2021 and she committed suicide on 7.8.2021. As a matter of fact, marriage was solemnized against wishes of the victim and being not happy from the marriage, she committed suicide merely after three months of marriage. No evidence has been collected during investigation that there was demand of dowry and victim was ever subjected to cruelty or harassment. Post mortem report also reveals that the deceased committed suicide. Charge sheet has already been filed and the petitioner is in custody since 28.4.2023.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner,

No.68049 of 2023(6) dt.05-07-2024 2/2 mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in Bheldi Police Station Case No. 252 of 2021.
