The petitioner has been arrested in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 40 of 2015 registered under Sections 4/6 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offence Act 2012. There is specific allegation about sexual harassment and there is medical evidence as well as statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. also corroborative evidence against the petitioner.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
