The petitioner seeks bail in Brahampura P.S. Case No. 166/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 447, 354, 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8 and 12 of POCSO Act.

The petitioner is alleged to have hurled abusive language against the daughter of the informant. It is submitted that the case has been compromised. The petitioner is in custody since 20.03.2017.

Considering the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has already remained in custody for three and half months, the petitioner, above named, is
