The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 307, 354, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that all the accused persons including the petitioner came at the door of the informant and started abusing him and when he resisted, he was assaulted by the accused persons. When the other family members of the informant came to his rescue, they were assaulted by the accused persons. It is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1136 of 2022(2) dt.13-06-2022 2/3 specifically alleged against this petitioner that he assaulted one Sunil Patel on his head by iron rod. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in the background of some land dispute, the present accusation has been levelled against the petitioner and others. There is counter version of the occurrence and petitioner's side also received injuries. Moreover, the injury report of Sunil Patel annexed as Annexure-2 does not corroborate the accusation levelled against the petitioner. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the facts and circumstance of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah,
