However, in view of the statement made in paragraph 10 of the counter affidavit, this writ petition is being disposed of with a direction to the Sentence Remission Board that a report from the Medical Board be sought, thereafter, decision be taken in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
