2. The petitioner was put under suspension on 29.04.2020, while he was working as Assistant Teacher at Project Girls High School, Buthi, Sitamadhi. Upon conclusion of the departmental proceeding initiated against the petitioner, a second show cause was issued to the petitioner on 27.01.2021. The petitioner filed reply to the second show cause issued to him on 01.02.2021. The petitioner, meanwhile, retired on 31.07.2021.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16626 of 2022(5) dt.25-04-2025 2/2 respondent authorities have not passed any order on the second show cause notice issued to him dated 27.01.2021, despite his filing of the reply on 01.02.2021.

4. Respondent nos. 1, 2 & 3 have filed a counter affidavit, wherein, there is no indication of conclusion of the departmental proceeding initiated against the petitioner.

5. Under the aforesaid circumstances, this writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conclude the departmental proceeding initiated against the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
