2. This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner (informant) of Madhuban P.S. Case No. 70 of 1993 for early disposal of the Sessions Trial No. 498 of 2000 (CIS No. 4317 of 2016) pending in the Court of Additional Sessions Judge-V, East Champaran, Motihari.

3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on the information given by the petitioner herein Madhuban P.S. Case No. 70 of 1993 has been registered and

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1634 of 2023 dt.09-09-2024 2/3 after completion of investigation, charge-sheet has been filed. According to the learned counsel, at present, the trial is going on before the Additional District and Sessions Judge-V, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Sessions Trial No. 498 of 2000. He further submits that prosecution evidence has already been closed and according to the learned counsel, on 27.01.2023, argument has already been concluded by the parties and the matter was finally fixed for pronouncement of the judgment on 10.02.2023. However, on 10.02.2023, the judgment has not been pronounced as some application has been filed by the defence and till today, the Sessions Trial is pending. Therefore, it is prayed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that this petition may be disposed of by directing the concerned Sessions Court to expedite the proceeding of the Sessions Trial and conclude the same as early as possible within a specific period made by this Court.

4. The above prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

5. Considering the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and further considering the fact that even after completion of entire evidence by the parties

WJC No.1634 of 2023 dt.09-09-2024 3/3 and after hearing both the parties till today, no judgment has been passed by the concerned Trial Court, the petition is disposed of by directing the concerned Trial Court to conclude the proceeding and pass the final order of the judgment as per relevant rules and law as early as possible probably within a period of six months from today.

6. However, it is made clear that if within the aforesaid period the judgment is not passed, the Trial Court will inform this Court mentioning the fact that on what ground the judgment has not been passed.
