2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 494, 495, 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. Allegation against the petitioner is of torturing and harassing the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Petitioner is mother-in-law of the informant.

5. It is submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Petitioner is separate in mess

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70664 of 2024(3) dt.09-01-2025 2/2 and property and she is not concerned with the family affairs of the informant. Thrust of accusation is against husband of the informant and petitioner is simply victim of over implications. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

6. Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of her arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Bikramganj, Rohtas in connection with Sanjhauli P. S. Case No. 12 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
