2. Petitioner apprehends their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and 63 Copy Right Act, 1957.
3. As per the prosecution case , this petitioner is alleged to be indulged in the marketing of several spurious products of Hindustan Unilever Ltd. Brand.
4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. As a matter of fact, the petitioner is running a valid and bonafide retail shop for which he has a valid license to sell the cosmetic products and other articles of several companies, including the products of Hindusan
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67546 of 2023(2) dt.19-10-2023 2/2 Unilever Company. The petitioner being the proprietor of a retail shop , purchased some products from Hindustan Unilever Company, which were delivered to the petitioner by the wholesaler of the company. As such, he cannot be blamed for the genuineness of the product. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Learned counsel for the State oppose the bail petition.
6 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Sasaram in connection with Sasaram Nagar P.S. Case No. 601 of 2022 , subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Koushik/- U T
