2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 47(A) of the Excise Act registered in connection with Excise Case No. 70C2(Ex)/2010.

4. At the very outset, learned APP submits that the case has been instituted as far back as in the year 2010, but the petitioner has approached this Court in the year 2019 and there does not appear to be any immediate apprehension of arrest of the petitioner.

5. Considering that the petitioner has not shown any immediate apprehension of arrest and the anticipatory bail petition has been filed about nine years after the institution of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59175 of 2019(2) dt.19-09-2019 2/2 anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Bail petition stands dismissed.
