2. The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sigori P.S. Case No. 66 of 2023 dated 23.04.2023 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the dead body of the deceased was found and the case was registered against some unknown miscreants. It is further alleged that the deceased was killed by sharp weapon.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62408 of 2025(2) dt.17-09-2025 2/3 implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners. The petitioners are not named in the F.I.R. The name of the petitioners has sprung up in the confessional statement of the co-accused, Krishna Yadav and Surith Yadav. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioners. The petitioners are the co-villagers and they are not related with the deceased who is said to have been killed by her in-laws as stated in para 9 of the bail petition. There is no eye witness to the alleged occurrence. The co-accused person has already been granted regular bail by the Coordinate Bench of this court vide order dated 20.02.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9705/2024. The charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioner. The petitioners have clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioners are in custody since 12.06.2025.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioners and submitted that during investigation, the dead body was identified as Renu Devi who is the daughter of Kunti Devi and in her statement, she has stated that the petitioners and the other accused persons are involved in the commission of murder of her daughter. The post-mortem report of the deceased has been mentioned in the impugned
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62408 of 2025(2) dt.17-09-2025 3/3 order, the cause of death was shown due to asphyxia and venous congestion as a result of strangulation.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioners above-named, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Danapur (Patna) in connection with Sigori P.S. Case No. 66 of 2023.
7. The application stands allowed.
