2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 663 of 2022 arising out of Lauriya P.S. Case No. 167 of 2020 registered for the offence under Sections 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner is of committing dacoity on a highway. The petitioner is accused in 12 more serious cases.

4. Considering the criminal antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, though, similarly situated co-accused have been granted bail by different benches of this Court.

5. Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66840 of 2023(2) dt.16-10-2023 2/2 is rejected herewith.

6. The District Judge, Bettiah, West Champaran is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases in one court pending against the petitioner.
