Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No.52 of 2017 registered for the alleged offences under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the prosecution case, 8 liters of country made liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is an innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. No incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. He has been languishing in jail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29396 of 2017 (02) dt.01-07-2017 2/2 custody since 19.02.2017.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge 7th, Begusarai in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No.52 of 2017.
