Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272,273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a), 32(ii) & 38(ii) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Liquor was recovered from Pick-Up-Van of the petitioner, however, the petitioner was not there. Driver was apprehended alongwith the liquor. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58440 of 2019(2) dt.20-09-2019 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Bochahan Police Station Case No.132 of 2019, G.R. Case No.708 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
