The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(1) That this writ application is being filed for direction to the concerned authority to remove encroachment by private respondents 5 and 6 over the land in question which is used for public place which is recorded as Gairmajarua Aam land in khatiyan

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
