JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 14-12-2015 In the present application filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the prayer of the petitioner is to direct the Respondent No.2 to dispose of the application dated 27.12.2013 filed by the petitioner in Confiscation Case No. 52 of 2013-14 wherein he has prayed for release of the truck bearing Registration No.WB-53/9992.

Learned counsel for the State has contended that the petitioner is not appearing on the dates fixed by the learned Collector in the aforesaid confiscation case. However, he has stated that he has instruction that the application dated 27.12.2013 filed by the petitioner shall be disposed of on the next appointed day i.e. 18.12.2015.
