Having regard to the nature of accusations, which have been made by the petitioner, that though a case was registered as Patrakarnagar P.S. Case No. 69 of 2016, under Sections 427, 447, 436, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3(i)(X) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, no effective steps for investigation have been taken by the police.
Considering the matter in its entirety and in the interest of justice, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Officerin-Charge, Patrakarnagar Police Station, to ensure proper, impartial, effective and expeditious investigation of the case aforementioned. It is further directed that Senior Superintendent of
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.458 of 2016 (2) dt.26-05-2016 2/2 Police, Patna, shall ensure that the investigation in the case aforementioned is carried out in accordance with law. With the above observation and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
