The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Singhwara P.S. Case No.124 of 2022 registered under Sections 341, 323, 354(A), 354(B), 325, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been implicated in this case due to land dispute. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner stating that there is a direct allegation of outraging the modesty of the informant and assaulting her. The petitioner is alleged to have also assaulted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62510 of 2022(2) dt.09-01-2023 2/2 the younger sister of the informant. On account of which, the informant and her sister sustained injuries to which the injury reports also corroborate. Therefore, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case as well as nature of allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. Harish/- (Arvind Srivastava, J) U
