2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 306(6) and 309(6) of the B.N.S.

3. The case of the prosecution is that while the informant was coming on his bike having laptop and cash, it is alleged that two persons on a bike intercepted him and assaulted him and took away his bag on the point of knife. The bag was containing cash of Rupees one lakh.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the FIR was lodged against

During course of investigation, one Vishal Kumar was apprehended and he has given his confessional statement and in his confessional statement, he has named this petitioner. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner. Moreover, he is languishing in judicial custody since 21.03.2025. He is having criminal antecedent of three cases.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 721 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran.
