The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No.31 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners are said to have misappropriated the government money sanctioned for Mukhyamantri Gramin PayJal Nishchay Yojana. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.307 of 2022(4) dt.27-09-2022 2/3 application. It is further submitted that the petitioners have almost completed the work but some work is yet to be completed. The petitioners are ready to deposit Rs.2,24,501/- under Yojana No.1 and Rs.1,24,450/- under Yojana No.3 in the account of the Block Development Officer, Block-Laxmipur (Jamui) (Mukhyamantri Gramin Pay-Jal Nishchay Yojana). Considering the fact that the petitioners are ready to deposit the aforesaid amount in the account of the Block Development Officer, Block-Laxmipur (Jamui) (Mukhyamantri Gramin Pay-Jal Nishchay Yojana), let petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing the bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Jamui in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No.31 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The learned court below is directed to accept the bail bonds of the petitioners after verifying the fact that the petitioners have already deposited the aforesaid amount in the account of the Block Development Officer, Block-Laxmipur
