The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 420, 467, 468, 471, 406/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is alleged to have got J.C.B. machine from the informant on payment of Rs. 5,20,000/-. The petitioner paid Rs. 70,000/- in cash and for the rest of the amount gave cheques of Allahabad Bank but the cheques were dishonoured. It is submitted that much prior to lodging of this case the petitioner filed a complaint case stating therein that defective J.C. B. machine was sold to the petitioner. It is further submitted that the case has been compromised outside the court and J.C.B. machine has already been returned to the informant.
