For the Petitioner : Mr. Ritesh Kumar Narain Singh, Advocate For the State : Mr. Jitendra Kr. Singh, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL ORDER 11-08-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
2. The petitioner is in custody since 31.03.2017 in connection with Sursand P.S. Case No. 33 of 2017 for the offences alleged under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner who is the father-inlaw of the deceased has been falsely implicated and he has no concern with the affairs of the deceased and her husband. In paragraph 9 of the bail petition, statement has been made that on perusal of the written report it appears that there was no dowry demand. This is an out and out incorrect statement as it has specifically been alleged by the informant in the FIR that on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and motor-cycle, the accused persons had killed his daughter.
4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner. The bail petition stands dismissed. (Vikash Jain, J) B.T/- U T
