2. The petitioner's grievance is with respect to the encroachment carried out by the Respondent Nos. 7 to 11, who are alleged to have forcefully encroached upon the part of land appertaining to Khata No. 98, Thana No. 299, Plot Nos. 173,

3. A counter affidavit has been filed specifically stating that the encroachment has been removed by the encroachers themselves. The enquiry report of the Rajaswa Karmchari of Halka No. 5 of Anchal Mahua, C.O., Mahua is also produced as Annexure-R/7, based on which the encroachment proceedings were dropped as early as on 18.08.2016 which order is also produced as Annexure R/8.

4. We find absolutely no reason to keep the matter pending.

5. The writ petition stands dismissed.
