The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ application is denial of consequential benefit/monitory benefit on grant of senior pay scale in terms of the decision in Ram Ashish Tiwari case. Once, promotion is granted, the respondents are duty bound to grant all consequential benefits. Accordingly, the respondent are directed to ensure all consequential benefit and promotion in terms of the Ram Ashish

Patna High Court CWJC No.18961 of 2019(2) dt.13-09-2019 2/2 Tiwari case at the earliest preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order as granting promotion is only an eye wash if it is not followed by consequential benefit/monitory benefit.
