2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 423 of 2023 arising out of Harsidhi P.S. Case No. 522 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the deceased was killed one and half months after her marriage.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and the deceased died because she committed suicide. It was the duty of the petitioner to inform the police about the suicide but the petitioner has failed to do so.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner by contending that the offence alleged against the petitioner is serious in nature and his prayer for bail may be rejected.

6. In view of the above, I am of the view that the story of suicide is a fake story propounded by the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.
