The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ application is payment of salary from 01.04.1990 to 31.03.1998
Patna High Court CWJC No.11389 of 2016 (2) dt.05-02-2018 2/3 and salary for the period after 31st October, 2014. This writ petition has exchequered history and after series of litigation the matter was decided and amount was released for payment of salary from 01.04.1990 to 31.03.1998. However, no decision was taken with regard to the period from 01.04.1990 to 31.03.1998. Instead of deciding the entitlement of the petitioner for payment of salary for the period from 01.04.1990 to 31.03.1998 and after 31.10.2014 in the present proceeding.
The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 2 and 6, namely, the Special Director, Secondary Education, Directorate of Education New Secretariat, Patna, and the District Education Officer, Supaul, to examine the representation of the petitioners, contained in Annexure 6 series, and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a maximum period of sixty days, from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and if the petitioners are found entitled to payment of salary for the aforesaid period, necessary consequential order be passed within the period indicated here-inabove.
