2. The present writ application has been filed by the petitioner for payment of his current salary and the arrears in compliance of Memo No.1102/19 dated 26.08.2019.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf respondent nos.3 to 6 in which it is, inter alia, stated that petitioner is getting Rs.20,000/- from internal resources in want of sanction of fund from the Government of Bihar. The University vide its letter no.A/C 272/2020 dated 10.06.2020 and memo no.189/22 dated 28.02.2022 directed the Principal,

Patna High Court CWJC No.361 of 2022(4) dt.20-06-2024 2/2 Ramesh Jha Mahila College, Saharsa to the effect that till the University does not receive the salary amount for the petitioner from the State Government under the budgetary provisions, till then the petitioner be paid fixed amount of Rs.20,000/- from the internal resources of the College and petitioner is getting the same.

4. In view of the facts aforesaid, in my considered opinion, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this writ petition pending. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the State to approve the budget sent by the University within a period of ten weeks from today after examining it in accordance with law.
