In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Bahera P.S. Case No. 59 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 324, 307, 354 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is high handedness of the accused persons, they have not only teased and misbehaved with the daughter of the informant, but audacity is such a high, they have assembled and assaulted the victim and his family members, which led to the death of the victim.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not been named in the first information report, but

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23496 of 2016 (2) dt.30-05-2016 2/2 later on, it transpired that it is the petitioner who had also assaulted the victim mercilessly over the temporal region, on that account, the victim died.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is rejected.
