2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 387, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, on the alleged date and time of occurrence, informant received threat message and calls demanding ransom of Rs. 20 lacs from mobile number 7370871471.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name transpired during course of investigation on confessional statement of co-accused Suraj
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62154 of 2025(2) dt.11-09-2025 2/2 Tiwari. Petitioner is not owner of the alleged phone number, rather the same is registered in the name of one Sulochana Devi, wife of Krishna Singh, who happens to be ex-staff of the informant.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering backdrop of the case and the fact that petitioner is not owner of the mobile number in question, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st, Gaya in connection with Civil Lines P. S. Case No. 479 of 2017, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
