2.The petitioners have participated in the process of selection of Home Guard pursuant to Advertisement No. 02 of 2011. Based on their self serving assessment of having completed the running test within time, they seek a direction upon the respondents authorities to declare them selected.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of Respondent Nos. 2 & 4, wherein, the specific uncontroverted stand is that the petitioners did not complete the running test

Patna High Court CWJC No.262 of 2022(4) dt.05-10-2023 2/2 successfully within the prescribed time and have thus not been declared unsuccessful.

4. Thus, no enforceable right of petitioner is made out. Nothing survives in the writ petition and the same is dismissed. (Madhuresh Prasad, J) shyambihari/- U
