The petitioner seeks to renew his prayer for bail though the same was rejected twice by this Court as it was found the petitioner had threatened to kidnap the girl and subsequently, was kidnapped and her dead-body was found. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the period of custody, the petitioner may be released on bail.

A report was called for from the Court of 4th Additional District and Sessions Judge, Saran at Chapra, who had submitted on 7.11.2019 that out of 10 witnesses, five prosecution witnesses have already been examined and summons have been issued to other witnesses to give the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64600 of 2019(3) dt.05-02-2020 2/2 evidence in Court. He has sought for further extension of time to conclude the trial.

Having considered the entire facts and circumstances of the case and there is specific allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to this petitioner. It is accordingly, rejected once again.

The Trial Court, however, is directed to proceed on day-to-day basis so that the same is concluded positively on or before the 30th of June, 2020.
