2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 103 (1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita .
3 . As per prosecution case informant Shravan Prasad alleged that his daughter was married to co-accused Abhishek
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62425 of 2025(3) dt.04-11-2025 2/3 Kumar in the year 2015 and thereafter she went to her matrimonial home and after sometime of the marriage , this petitioner along with other in -laws started torturing and harassing her for the demand of dowry . Ultimately , on 17.06.2025 , all the accused persons including this petitioner killed daughter of informant.
4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that Petitioner is father-in -law of the deceased. He is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged. He is simply victim of over implications. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the affairs of deceased and her husband. It is further submitted that thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased who is already in custody since 14.07.2025 . Petitioner claims clean antecedent. 5 . Learned counsel for the State as well as informant opposed the bail petition .
6 Considering the fact that husband of the deceased is already in custody , clean antecedent of the petitioner and other circumstances of the case , in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
