2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Barun P.S. Case No. 310 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Section 96 of B.N.S.

3. As per allegation, on 10.07.2024, the informant's daughter went to her college from his house but she did not return home till evening. During search, informant got information that his daughter used to talk to Locan Kumar and Anup Kumar(the petitioner). It is further alleged by the informant that he has apprehension that both the accused persons have taken his daughter.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66713 of 2024(2) dt.26-09-2024 2/2 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted that victim did not support the prosecution case in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. She is on the verge of majority. The petitioner is a man of clean antecedent. Moreover, he is under custody since 15.07.2024.

5. On the other hand, learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI-cum Special Exclusive Judge (POCSO) Civil Court, Aurangabad Bihar in connection with Barun P.S. Case No. 310 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
