2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Baliya P.S. Case No. 155 of 2025 dated 09.05.2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2) and 96 of the B.N.S.
3. The main submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel are that the so-called victim has been recovered and has recorded her statement under Sections 180 and 183 of the BNSS in which she revealed that she had voluntarily went with this petitioner which falsifies the allegations levelled in the FIR. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a young person and has been languishing in jail since 15.05.2025 having no criminal
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64301 of 2025(2) dt.10-09-2025 2/2 antecedent and against him, the investigation has been completed. It is lastly submitted that the instant matter relates to elopement and love affair.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
5. Considering the aforesaid submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Baliya P.S. Case No. 155 of 2025.
