JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 23-11-2022 Heard learned senior counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the informant and learned A.P.P. for the State. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 28.02.2022 in Cr. Misc. No. 42563 of 2021 on the ground that petitioner is the main assailant, however, a direction was given to the learned trial court to complete the trial expeditiously, if possible within a period of seven months from the date of receipt/protection of a copy of the order dated 28.02.2022.

Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that till date trial has not been completed despite order dated 28.02.2022 being received in the learned trial court on

Learned counsel for the informant submits that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and now the defense witnesses are being examined.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the informant and the fact that no new grounds are there for consideration, the Court is not persuaded to grant bail to the petitioner. His prayer for bail is thus rejected. (Satyavrat Verma, J) Rishi/- U T
