2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 323 , 420 and 34 of the IPC .

3 . The prosecution case, in brief, is that the complainant namely, Vinod Kumar, alleged that this petitioner deceitfully took him to Samastipur, on the pretext of purchasing a piece of land in the name of complainant with the assurance that the said land would subsequently be transferred to the petitioner since the actual owner was purportedly unwilling to execute the sale deed directly in his favour. It is further alleged

No.64176 of 2025(3) dt.15-11-2025 2/3 that after obtaining the complainant's photograph and signature, this petitioner administered an intoxicating substance to him, rendering him unconscious. Upon regaining consciousness, the complainant found that his land had been fraudulently usurped by the petitioner.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that petitioner is bonafide purchaser of the land and has purchased the land in question after payment of full consideration money which is apparent from the sale deed itself where the seller has accepted that petitioner has already paid the full consideration money . It is further submitted that this false and concocted case has been lodged only with the intent to extort money from petitioner.

5 . Learned counsel for the State opposed the bail petition .

6 Considering the aforesaid facts, materials available on record and other circumstances of the case , in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM Samastipur in connection with Complaint Case No. 467 of
