The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bodhgaya P.S. Case No. 251 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 304B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the petitioner along with his family members killed the deceased for demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and he has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 21.06.2023. He further submits that he has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and there is a general and omnibus allegation levelled against him.
