The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with G.O. Case No. 44 of 2016 dated 17.05.2016 instituted under Section 47A of the Excise Act.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the application in order to surrender before the Court below and seek regular bail. Learned A.P.P. does not oppose.

In view of the aforesaid, the application stands disposed off as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. It goes without saying that in the event the petitioner surrenders before the Court below and seeks regular bail within six
