The petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondents to grant Graduate Trained Teacher Scale from 1963.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner superannuated in 1988 and thereafter on account of illness he could not approach the authority earlier. He submits that the matter is pending consideration before the respondent authorities and as such he prays that the writ application may be disposed of with liberty to pursue the remedy before the authority concerned.
